What’s wrong with my laptop’s fan?

Question by TehCoolio: What’s incorrect with my laptop’s fan?
When I start my cpu its like silent for 3 sec then it suddenly becomes extremely loud. It works properly, like it keeps my laptop cool and doesn’t overheat. Is it because of dust because a lot of dust generates on my counter, so could that be the problem? Im really not sure because my cpu never really overheats. Could you tell me what’s the problem and how to fix it? Or at least how to make my laptop more silent(don’t say something dumb like “whack your computer”).

Try buying a can of air and spray it.

Yeah, I guess it could be dust problems. You can try opening that underside of your laptop and get a cleaning bush to clean the fan’s blades.

Check you BIOS, it may be set to a certain speed! Usually press F2 or Del to enter setup. Your BIOS may allow you to control the CPU fan speed, mine does!
