ok i have a huge problem ……… i downloaded IE8 Beta2 on my computer ……. on the same day my sister lost (DELETED) 2 of her most vital files …… files that were going to help her on her GRADUATION PROJECT ….. SO, i tried to restore my computer to the day before so that i can get her files back !! ……. AND i did that ….. i restored my comp to an earlier day ….. but now IE8 Beta2 got deleted and IE7 does not open up !! ……. why in the world did that happen …. and how !? ……. because when i installed IE8 it did not tell me that it was going to delet IE7 from my computer !! ….. i also tried Safe Mode “with and without networking” on my computer …. it doesn’t let me open it in safe mode too …… im like “seriously” …. i dont get it …. i also tried troubleshooting on my computer …. it told me to use command prompt ….. i did that too …. it said my Network connection was working properly …. meaning there were no problems with my internet connection ….. man i am PISSED … no internet at home now !!! ….. BTW i tried to talk to Microsoft and they charge like $ 59.00 for that …… that is BS !! …. PLEASE HELP 8::(

BS indeed.
Do yourself a favour and don’t bother with IE, any version. Try Firefox.

Though if you don’t have a working Internet browser you’ll have to get Firefox from somewhere other than the Internet, like a friend.

Install Firefox. You can download it from http://www.firefox.com, and the install will fit on a flash drive.

start > Help and Support> Update windows > custom update > if its not under the software tab, beneath it will be “show hidden updates” select that, from there you should be capable to select internet explorer. one version or another
