So, I’m trying to update my iPod Touch to the software OS3.1.
It’s already downloaded, and it gets to the point where it’s “extracting software” from my iPod, and then it starts to back up my files when it says i disconnected my ipod touch.
the thing is, i didnt.
i didn’t touch my cable thats plugged into my computer at all, and i’ve tried multiple times and it won’t work
any thoughts?
im not excellent with computers, so be thorough.

There is probably something incorrect with itunes uninstall then reinstall itunes or get a different cord for your ipod. If that doesnt work then you need to question Apple Technicians see what they say. You may need to bring it in to get it fixed or there is something incorrect with the software OS3.1 uninstall the software and then reinstall it again.
