…it was a “NOW THAT’S WHAT I CALL MUSIC” CD….

Listened to once and hidden out of sight for life now.
i found a nickelback cd in my mom’s car and when i confronted her about it she said, ” what? it’s catchy.” i have disowned her.
Thunderstruck came on the radio once and my dad listened to it for about a small and then turned it off and said “I don’t care HOW high voltage you are…”
When I was 7 I got a gift card to Target and I was like, Mom, I want to get a CD! I didn’t know much about music so I questioned her what I should get. She suggested a Nickelback album and me not knowing who they were thought, ok! Oh my god, even at 7 I realized it was a pile of sh*t.
Me listening to Metallica one day,
Mom walks in and says
“So you like The Beatles?”
I just stare at her with a “umm” face
The song was Fade To Black, how do you confuse that with The Beatles?!
I paused my music, and then I set my I-shell down on the table once. I left the room for a small and when I came back my mom was showing my grandmother what I was listening to. I pulled the headphones off my grandmother and my mom was like, “that’s approximately pretty headbanging music your listening to. Is that metal?” I was listening to The Wombats, haha.
